July already (actually heading into late July by the time I got around to typing this), I've not updated things here for
a while. This is mostly because, as per usual, there isn't a great deal to talk about when I am just using the car for
this and that.
But anyway, last weekend I took a friend out in the car who made a right monkey job of getting in, which resulted in the
passenger side half door front fixings come adrift of the door itself. I'd already had to repair these on the drivers side
after the tour, so I was half expecting to have to do the other one at some point.
Another little job which has developed is that the blanking over the oil cooler, has started to self destruct, so that needs
redoing, which I shall do in the near future.
Also I decided it was time to do something with the stack of spare tyres hanging around the garage, so I fetched them down
out of the loft space. I was considering putting them on the car for the summer to play with, but in the end someone made
me an offer for them, so went for the easy life and sold them on.

Still nothing much to say, though I just feel like I ought to put _something_ in here...
As per usual, I've been out and about using the car occasionally, when the weather permits, which hasn't been all that often
of late. I did take it out for a jaunt to Donington today though. No, not me on the track, I was watching friends racing in
the RGB series. Some pictures of which are to follow.
The car really is quite quick on the road. Whilst the bulk of the journey was on dual carriageway, where it's just dullness
and discomfort, I replaced the M1 with a more interested A-road jolly. These roads were pretty quiet, and I was able to
stretch the cars legs a little. Overtaking other cars is so effortless, though it does, errr, encourage you a little... It's
a great car for this sort of quick road driving though, trunk roads are dull, super narrow twisties where you can't see far
are difficult, but more open sweeping roads are great fun, and you can cover surprising amounts of ground.
