Still not alot happening with the car, though I have been using it this weekend to
get to the RGB races at Snetterton. It was good to get the car out and stretch it's
legs a bit, and with some decent mileage too as I went up there both days, the second
on a scenic mercy mission to collect a water pump for a competitor.
On the way home, I stopped for fuel, but upon restarting the oil pressure gauge was
jumping around all over the place. I pulled over and had a quick nose under the bonnet.
I couldn't see anything amiss, so assumed that it was the sender that had failed, seems
likely given that it's already been broken/repaired once already. I pulled the wires off
the back of the gauge as it was too distracting!
These senders are quite expensive, so I am thinking I may well change it for a mechanical
gauge...
