Still not a great deal of use for the car, mixed weather precluded me from using it this weekend for a trip back to visit the parents. However I did get along to a round of the British Hillclimb Championship at Shelsley Walsh - lots of interesting things to drool over there...

Craig has got hold of some Mike Barnby magnesium split rim wheels for his Phoenix build, at a very reasonable price as they are ex-race wheels. The wheels have been crack tested so are ok. So I popped round to try them for size on my car, with thoughts of doing similar. The silver with black centres certainly looks great on the car.

Took the car up to see Adrian yesterday and offer some moral support for his build. Once again, not as much oil temperature as I'd like, so today I decided to whip the nosecone off and blank off some of the oil cooler and see how that fares.
Also I figured it was high time I refitted the grille. And whilst I am here I decide to extend the indicator wires inside the the nose - I often forget to reconnect them and it's quite a fiddly job, which would be so much easier for a bit of extra wire.
